A. POINT WIRING SYSTEM

1. All Wall / Slab Concealed conduit shall be PVC heavy -Duty conduit & surface conduit shall be FRLS PVC Type
2. All PVC conduits shall be jointed by slip type of socket with approved sealing cement.
3. PVC Conduits upto 32mm dia shall be 1.8mm wall thickness and above that shall be 2.2mm wall thickness.
4. 1.5mm thick GI saddles and grouting the same for exposed conduit work.
5. 1.8 mm thick GI MK Outlet boxes and junction box
6. 8.3 mm thick cable gland plates shall be provided on top as well as at the bottom of the GI MK Outlet box / panel.
7. All sockets shall be shuttered type with earth terminal.

B. CABLE & CONTAINMENT

1. The numbers of insulated wires that may be drawn in the conduits of various sizes and the conduit fill shall not exceed 40%.
2. FRLS PVC insulated copper conductor stranded wire of Green colour with yellow bands for earthing of fixtures, outlet boxes & socket.
3. Separate neutral and earthing wire shall be provided for each circuit.
4. Lighting and power circuit to be kept separate.
5. Wherever the cables are of aluminium and bus bars of copper bimetallic lugs shall be used.

C. LIGHT FIXTURES

1. Drilling holes in supports wherever required.
2. Testing of all fixtures before and after installation.
3. All Emergency lighting shall be feed from EDB with 3 hours inverter backup.

D. DISTRIBUTION BOARDS

1. Cubicle type, 2mm CRCA sheet steel enclosed.
2. All MCB’s shall be of appropriate breaking capacity but minimum of 10 KA breaking capacity.
3. MCCB’s shall be appropriate breaking capacity 16A to 160A breaking capacity 25 KA & 200A to 630A breaking capacity 36 KA & 800A to 1250A breaking capacity 50 KA 
4. All MCB’s used for protection of resistive and lightly inductive load shall be type “B” characteristic and inductive (motor) load shall be of type “C” characteristic and discharge lamps and UPS etc. shall be of type D characteristic. 
5. The breaking capacity of MCCB’s are mentioned panel wise. Up to 250A MCCB’s shall be with thermal magnetic releases and above rating MCCB's shall be with microprocessor based.
6. Distribution panels shall be Powder Coated with Siemens grey paint .
7. All hinged door shall be earthed through 2.5 sq mm tinned braided copper wire.

E. EARTHING INSTALLATION

1. All earthing pits shall be interconnected.
2. All DBs, panels to be connected on earthing with suitable strip / wires
